Our client is a fast-growing credit broker. They connect leading lenders with emerging and thriving SMEs in the UK, to facilitate growth with best fit finance. they do this by outperforming competitors with superior Sales and Marketing. They have an established culture of high integrity and hard work, balanced with humour and supporting each other.

Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking to recruit a Business Support Adviser, working in their busy Start Up Loans team. Our client is a leading Delivery Partner for the government-backed Start Up Loans scheme and this role will be central to their delivery of the scheme.

Your role will be involved in ensuring customers are supported at every stage, queries are answered promptly, and documents are to scheme standards before allocating the applicant to a Business Adviser. You will be a key person in promoting our clients brand and standards to their Start Up Loan customers as well as maintaining their growing reputation.

The new Business Support Adviser must be self-driven, efficient, experienced in delivering excellent customer service, and with a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include:

The ability to work from home
Coaching and nurturing applicants through enquiry to Start Up Loan application submission, via multiple communications means
Satisfactorily conduct and document KYC and other identity verification checks required to scheme standards
Allocating leads to Business Advisers
Answering the company telephones
Accurate record keeping on bespoke CRM systems
Identifying efficiencies in processes
Contributing to the culture and development and maintaining the Company’s reputation at all times

Qualifications

A background in customer service and administration within the financial services sector, business support industry or a start-up business
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal, written, communication, organisational and IT skills
The desire to learn new systems and information and utilise it in the role with customers
The ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work to SLA’s whilst maintaining an attention to detail
The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
